Import guide

Move from Bink to PokerLog

Bink's App Store listing says you can import and export all your sessions. Export them from Bink, then import the file into PokerLog, which matches the columns by name and shows you every session before anything is saved.

Updated By the PokerLog team at MoneySense Labs • PokerLog is our app

At a glance

  • How PokerLog reads it: by matching column names; you see every mapped column before importing.
  • Where: the web dashboard, or Settings → Import Data on iPhone and Android.
  • Cost: importing is free in PokerLog. Duplicates are detected and the last import can be undone.

1. Export your sessions from Bink

  1. Open Bink and go to your profile tab.
  2. Tap the gear (top right) → Export.
  3. Save the file to your phone or computer, or email it to yourself.
  • These steps are the ones PokerLog's import screen shows. We couldn't confirm them in Bink's documentation, so if the menu has moved, look for Export in Bink's settings.

2. Import the file into PokerLog

  1. Sign in at pokerlog.app, or create a free account. On a phone, open the PokerLog app instead.
  2. Open Settings → Import Data (on the web, Sessions → Import works too).
  3. Pick Bink from the list of apps, then choose the file.
  4. Check the preview: the sessions found, the columns used, any warnings, and possible duplicates (skipped by default).
  5. Import. Your stats, charts and bankroll results update right away, and sync to your other devices.

If you already have an account, open the importer.

PokerLog doesn't have a dedicated format for this app yet. Its importer reads the file and matches the columns by name (date, start and end, location, game, stakes, buy-in, cash-out, profit, hours, tips, notes, tournament fields). If the column names aren't recognized, Prime's Smart Import can match them with AI, or you can send us the file from the import screen and we'll add the format.

3. What carries over

  • Date and time or hours played
  • Location, matched to PokerLog's rooms or added as your own location
  • Game, stakes, buy-in, cash-out or result, and notes, when the columns are named in a recognizable way
  • Tournament fields (entry, prize, position) when they're in the file

4. What doesn't carry over

  • Your Bink social profile, followers and posts.
  • Hand logs and opponent notes.
  • Home games hosted in Bink (PokerLog's home-game ledger starts fresh).
  • Non-poker gambling entries.

5. Duplicates and undo

Before saving, PokerLog compares each imported session with the ones you already have. A session on the same day with the same buy-in and result is an exact match; the same day, location and a buy-in within $1 is a likely match. Both are skipped unless you choose "Import anyway". If something looks wrong afterwards, undo the last import from the same screen and try again.

FAQ

Can I keep Bink and PokerLog side by side?

Yes. Importing into PokerLog doesn't change anything in Bink. PokerLog's duplicate check skips sessions that match ones you already have, so you can import a newer export later.
