Import guide
Move from Poker Analytics to PokerLog
Poker Analytics exports your sessions as a CSV file, and PokerLog imports it by matching the columns by name. Most session data comes across: dates and times, location, game, stakes, buy-in, cash-out or result, and notes. PokerLog shows a preview of every session before anything is saved.

At a glance
- How PokerLog reads it: by matching column names; you see every mapped column before importing.
- Where: the web dashboard, or Settings → Import Data on iPhone and Android.
- Cost: importing is free in PokerLog. Duplicates are detected and the last import can be undone.
1. Export your sessions from Poker Analytics
- Poker Analytics 7 (iPhone): open the Feed, tap the menu in the Feed title and export your sessions as CSV.
- Poker Analytics 6 (Android and older iPhone versions): go to More → Export → Sessions (CSV).
- Save the file to your phone or computer, or email it to yourself.
- Poker Analytics' FAQ says your data stays viewable and exportable after a subscription ends.
- Poker Analytics 7's release notes (7.0.4) describe the export menu in the Feed title. PokerLog's in-app guide still says Settings → Export; use the Feed menu if you don't find it there.
2. Import the file into PokerLog
- Sign in at pokerlog.app, or create a free account. On a phone, open the PokerLog app instead.
- Open Settings → Import Data (on the web, Sessions → Import works too).
- Pick Poker Analytics from the list of apps, then choose the file.
- Check the preview: the sessions found, the columns used, any warnings, and possible duplicates (skipped by default).
- Import. Your stats, charts and bankroll results update right away, and sync to your other devices.
If you already have an account, open the importer.
PokerLog doesn't have a dedicated format for this app yet. Its importer reads the file and matches the columns by name (date, start and end, location, game, stakes, buy-in, cash-out, profit, hours, tips, notes, tournament fields). If the column names aren't recognized, Prime's Smart Import can match them with AI, or you can send us the file from the import screen and we'll add the format.
3. What carries over
- Date, start and end time (or hours played)
- Location, matched to PokerLog's rooms and online sites, or added as your own location
- Game, stakes, buy-in, cash-out or net result, tips and notes
- Tournament entry fee, rebuys, add-ons, prize, position and entrants, when the columns are present
4. What doesn't carry over
- Hand histories and replays.
- Staking, swaps, bets and investments: only poker sessions are imported.
- Multiple bankrolls and currencies: amounts come in as they are.
- Columns PokerLog can't match by name (the preview shows which columns were used).
5. Duplicates and undo
Before saving, PokerLog compares each imported session with the ones you already have. A session on the same day with the same buy-in and result is an exact match; the same day, location and a buy-in within $1 is a likely match. Both are skipped unless you choose "Import anyway". If something looks wrong afterwards, undo the last import from the same screen and try again.
