Tracking Apps

The Best Poker Tracker Apps for Live Players (2026)

Disclosure: PokerLog is our app. Here's how it compares, including where others are better.

A poker tracker app is a logbook for your results: for each session it records where you played, the game and stakes, how long you played and what you bought in for and cashed out, then turns that into profit, hourly rate and a bankroll balance. Live trackers like the apps below are a different tool from online HUD software such as PokerTracker 4 and Hold'em Manager 3, which read hand histories from online poker sites.

Prices, platforms and features checked against each app's App Store and Google Play listings and its own website (see sources). US prices.

The short answer

  • For a free tracker on your phone and computer: PokerLog (iPhone, Android and web, with sync and home games free) or Poker Bankroll Tracker (unlimited sessions with ads; CSV export needs Pro).
  • For the deepest reports: Poker Analytics.
  • For staking and a social feed: Pokerbase. Bink if you mostly want the feed with your friends.
  • For the cheapest paid plan with a hand recorder: Poler, on iPhone only.
  • If you mostly play tournaments, PokerLog needs Prime for them, so compare the other apps' free tiers first.

3. How to choose

  1. Live or online? For live sessions, use one of the apps above. To study online hands with a HUD, you need desktop hand-history software instead (or as well).
  2. Cash games or tournaments? PokerLog tracks cash games free and tournaments with Prime. If you mostly play tournaments, compare what each app's free tier allows before you commit.
  3. Do you host home games? PokerLog's ledger settles up and sends payment links; Bink has a hosting tool; the others mostly record your own result.
  4. Do you want it on a computer? PokerLog and Poker Bankroll Tracker have web apps. The others are phone (and Mac or iPad) apps.
  5. Can you get your data out? CSV export is free in PokerLog, a Pro feature in Poker Bankroll Tracker and a paid in-app purchase in Poker Income. Check before years of history pile up.
  6. Do you need staking or hand records? Pokerbase, Poker Analytics and Poler have staking tools, and Poker Bankroll Tracker, Pokerbase, Poker Analytics, Poler and Bink record hands. PokerLog does neither.

4. Switching to PokerLog

PokerLog's importer recognizes Poker Bankroll Tracker and Pokerbase files automatically (including a Pokerbase Custom Sheet), and reads exports from Poker Analytics, Bink, Poker Income and spreadsheets by matching their columns. Every import shows a preview and skips likely duplicates. Step-by-step guides:

5. Frequently asked questions

What's the best free poker tracker?

For live cash games, PokerLog's free plan covers your whole history (up to 25 new sessions a day), every stat, bankroll tracking, sync between iPhone, Android and the web, home games and CSV export. Poker Bankroll Tracker's free tier also has unlimited sessions, with ads, and Pokerbase keeps tracking free. Poker Analytics and Poler cap free use at a few records or sessions.

Is there a poker tracker for live games?

Yes. Every app in this comparison is built for live poker: you log each session's location, game, stakes, buy-in, cash-out and time, and the app works out your profit, hourly rate and bankroll. That's different from online HUD software, which reads hand histories from online poker sites.

Can I import my data from Poker Bankroll Tracker?

Yes. PokerLog reads Poker Bankroll Tracker's CSV export directly, including times, stakes, buy-ins, cash-outs, tournaments and notes. Exporting from PBT needs PBT Pro. Pokerbase and Poler can also import PBT files.

Do I need PokerTracker 4 for live poker?

No. PokerTracker 4 and Hold'em Manager 3 are desktop programs for online poker: they import hand histories from poker sites and show a HUD of opponent stats. Live players track sessions, not hand histories, so a session tracker app is the right tool.

Can I track home games?

PokerLog has a free home-game ledger that records every player's buy-ins and cash-outs, settles up with the fewest payments and sends Venmo, Cash App or PayPal links. Bink has a home game hosting tool and ledger, and Pokerbase and Poker Analytics log home game results. Poker Bankroll Tracker treats a home game as a location.
